| Munster's Jeremy Manning opened the scoring and was the only Munster player who managed to get points on the scoreboard scoring all 12 for his side.
Munster wasted several opportunities and the Scarlets used this advantage to take a 10-9 lead into the interval.
A Munster spill opened up a 50 metre dash for the Scarlets Darren Daniels, which lit up the second half and was followed by a late try in injury time from Barry Davies which secured the bonus point win for the Scarlets and cemented their 2nd place in the Magners League table.
