Glasgow secure derby glory at Hughenden
34 - 27
Hughenden   Att: 2,613

Glasgow Warriors Dan Parks helped his side to victory in their Magners League derby against Edinburgh by picking up 24 points, and sending out a clear message that the Warriors may still be able to secure a top-five league finish.

Edinburgh started strong and looked determined securing the first points of the game, but the Warriors quickly replied and evened the scores.

Edinburgh continued to keep edging ahead, but every time the Warriors answered back to add more points to their score.

The Warriors suffered an injury after the restart with Rory Lamont leaving the field with a serious looking knee injury.

But even after this the Warriors managed to hold off Edinburgh’s attacks and dive over the line for their second try of the game which Dan Parks followed with the conversion.

Although Edinburgh managed to claw back two trys it was not enough to close the deficit and the Warriors took the derby win.
