| A stout defensive display from the Dragons saw them take a one point win in the east Wales derby clash with the Cardiff Blues on Wednesday. |

A big crowd braved the wet afternoon to see the Dragons, in an orange kit, build a 14 point lead which in the end was just enough to repel the visitors.
The Blues came back with a try from skipper Xavier Rush, while Ben White also crossed late on when the Dragons had been reduced to 14 men – but Ben Blair who had a difficult afternoon with the boot, missed the conversion and the Blues were left with only a losing bonus point for their afternoon's endeavors.
