| James Hook scored three penalties to help Ospreys achieve their second derby victory of the festive season. |

| Torrential wind and rain made any repetition of the Ospreys' 50 points achieved last time out nigh on impossible. Indeed the deadlock was not broken until Hook's first success in the 24th minute, after both he and opposite number Ceri Sweeney had both missed a shot apiece at goal.
Hook was also the architect of the most notable attack of the first quarter - a break and chip that just eluded Lee Byrne.
Both fly-halves were successful with a further penalty before the break and the first half ended with the hosts leading 6-3.
Hook's third penalty followed the sinbinning of Dragons prop Lee Harrison. However Dragons fought back with Sweeey's second penalty and Kevin Morgan's knock-on over the line which prevented a try.
But they came no closer to scoring than that and it fell to Ospreys centre Gavin Henson to kick a 45-metre penalty to seal the contest.
