Nevertheless the Dragons and Warriors tried their hardest to serve up some good entertainment. The match only had one try - Aled Brew's late effort - but there could have been more.

Dragons' prop Adam Black had an effort ruled out for a knock-on in the first half and Glasgow winger Tom Evans came close to touching down Dan Parks' kick.

Parks notched the sole points of the first half with a penalty, but Ceri Sweeney's two successes after the break gave the Dragons a narrow lead.

Then with time ticking down Brew struck in the corner, and Sweeney rounded off the night with a superb conversion.
