| Connacht came out fighting and were rewarded with 13 points on the board inside the first 14 minutes of play, and managed to take a 21-10 led into the interval.
With the match restarted Leinster started to take control of the game and scored an unanswered 17 points with thanks to tries from Keith Gleeson and Shane Horgan.
Felipe Contepomi's 100% kicking in the game also added the needed points to the board to take the win and put Leinster 4 points clear of Ulster in the Magners League.
