| Despite having much of the territory and possession Leinster were unable to come up with the victory which would have given them the Magners League title on Friday night. Instead a bonus point display from the Blues leaves them top and hoping the Ospreys slip up against the Border Reivers on Saturday. |

The Blues, with an unbeaten home record to protect, scored after just five minutes with Nicky Robinson splitting the defence to send over Robin Sowden-Taylor over.
Felipe Contepommi responded with two penalties but the Blues soon hit back when Gareth Williams was driven over from an attacking lineout
The Blues went further ahead early in the second half when Chris Czekaj, caught a cross field kick and popped up to Rhys Williams who went in for Ben Blair to convert. The fourth came soon after when Marc Stcherbina, pounced on a Shane Horgan to glide over for the bonus point..
However Horgan soon replied with a try of his own but with Contepomi sent to the sin bin the visitors never looked like getting back into the game and their title hopes were gone. |
