Test players return for Leinster

Gordon D’Arcy, Shane Horgan, Girvan Dempsey and Felipe Contepomi have all been included after representing Ireland and Argentina respectively in the recent series of November internationals.

Also named in the extended squad are Eric Miller and Adam Byrnes - who both featured in last weekend’s ‘A’ team that defeated Oxford University 36-5. – as well as ex-Connacht stars Bernard Jackman and Ronan McCormack. The team is expected to be reduced later in the week.

Meanwhile, Leinster’s Celtic League clash with Munster on New Years Eve has been moved to the RDS (KO: 1pm). There will be live music and entertainment at the specially arranged pre-match ‘Family Day’. The fun starts at 12 Midday and there will be a Canterbury Roadshow, Tag rugby competitions, Face Painting, Player appearances, signings and much more.
