1 December 2005, 12:53 pm
By Chris Marais
Included in the Connacht squad for the first time are new signings, Andrew Mailei, Tongan international centre who joins from North Harbour and Gavin Williams who joins from Auckland and has played in both of Connacht’s recent A inter pros at outside centre.

Among the injured players at the moment are Dan McFarland (back), Ronan Loughney (knee), Keith Matthews (Groin), Brendan O’Connor (Thigh), Darren Yapp (calf).

John Hearty is now back to full fitness and available for selection while James Downey and Mark McHugh remain on the long term injured list. Supporters are asked to take note of the earlier than usual kick off time and Leinster fans are advised that the Loughrea bypass in now open which will make the Saturday morning journey to Galway that little bit more relaxing.
