Martyn Williams will make his hundredth appearance for either Cardiff or the Cardiff Blues when he leads the team against Connacht on Friday evening.
Williams, who also has 45 Welsh caps first played for the Arms Park side in November 1999 and has been a mainstay with both the club and the regional side since then.
David Young’s side to face Cardiff shows four changes from the team beaten by the Ospreys last weekend, with starts for Nick Walne, Nick Macleod Dean Dewdney and Nathan Thomas.
Speaking on the clubs website, http://www.cardiffblues.com/, Young said: “Our options this week have been limited by a growing list of injuries and illnesses and we know we face a tough match against Connacht. However, everyone in the squad is keen to kick-start our season again after the disappointments against the Ospreys.”
