| Floodlights come to Connacht |

| Connacht Rugby are hoping to have their new floodlights installed at the Sportsground in Galway before the end of the season. |
At a sod turning ceremony at half time in the Connacht v Llanelli Celtic League clash, Connacht Branch CEO Gerry Kelly thanked the Department of Arts Sports and Tourism and its minister John O'Donoghue for the funding under the Sports capital programme and the National lottery for their funding.
Kelly also thanked local Minister for State, Frank Fahey, for his assistance in the receipt of funding for all the developments at the Sportsground over the last number of years.
