Marshall and Best Sign New Ulster Contracts

Ulster Rugby today confirmed that Ulster Academy player, scrum-half Paul Marshall, has signed a full two year contract with Ulster Rugby while Ulster and Ireland Hooker Rory Best has committed himself to the club for a further two years.
Marshall, aged 20, plays his club rugby for Ballynahinch and moves directly from the Ulster Academy, based at the Sports Institute at Jordanstown, to a full senior contract. The former pupil of Methodist College Belfast has trained with the Ulster senior squad this season and was involved in the pre-season friendly against Rotherham and the first Celtic League match away to Cardiff. He was the captain of the Ulster U21 squad this season and is currently holding down a starting berth in the Irish Under 21 Six Nations team.

Rory Best who is currently with the Irish Squad and is named on the replacements bench for this weekend's Six Nations match against Wales has signed a new two year contract with Ulster, while development contracts have been agreed with Ulster Academy players Stuart Philpott, Paul McKenzie, Chris Henry, Mark Kettyle, Niall Conlon and Lewis Stevenson.
