| Miller said: “I am a born and bred Gala boy and it is a dream come true for me to play professional rugby in the Borders. I really want to push for a future Scotland place and I believe this is possible at the Reivers with coaches like Steve Bates, George Graham and Alan Tait,” he added.
Reivers head coach Steve Bates added: “I am very pleased that Andy has decided to extend his career with the Borders.
“We have real ambitions for Andy to secure a Scotland place in the future and playing for the Reivers is the best launch pad for him to do so.”
Born in Gala, the 23-year-old is a member of the 2006 RBS 6 Nations Scotland squad and made his senior Scotland debut against New South Wales Country in the non-cap tour of Australia in 2004 after representing Scotland at under 21 level.
Andy has played in 15 games this season for the Reivers scoring on three occasions - most notably against Newcastle Falcons at Kingston Park in the fifth round of the European Challenge Cup and in the Celtic League victory over Glasgow Warriors at Firhill.
