Cardiff Blues can confirm that Robert Sidoli has signed a new contract with the region that will see him stay with the Arms Park side.  The 6'5" second row forward has been an integral part of the team this season starting in 19 of the 26 competitive matches.
Rob Sidoli made a high profile move to the Blues in 2003 following the disbanding of the Celtic Warriors and won his first cap as replacement against South Africa in 2002. He was voted Pontypridd's Player of the Year in 2001/2002 and enjoyed an excellent 2003 Rugby World Cup campaign.

"I'm delighted to have signed the new contract and I'm happy with the way things are progressing. I feel that there is real potential in the squad for success and would like to be a core part of this" said Rob Sidoli.

"Rob's contract extension is a good move for both the Region and the player.  He is an athletic and talented line out forward who has many good seasons ahead of him and we look forward to Rob continuing to do well here at Blues." Said, Robert Norster, Cardiff Blues Chief Executive.
