| Scarlets Chief Executive Stuart Gallacher said; “We are delighted that Regan has committed to the Scarlets for a further three years. His impact on the team this season has been significant and he has been an outstanding success”.
The Scarlets centre added: “I’m ecstatic to have re-signed with the Scarlets until 2009” says King. “I’ve really settled into the team and have found a home in Llanelli and I’m thrilled to have been in a position to extend my stay so early on”.
“There’s no doubt that the season has been a bit of a roller-coaster but we’re Powergen Cup finalists in it’s inaugural season and I’m sure that we will go from strength to strength in the coming seasons, and confident that the Scarlets will again become a force to be reckoned with in Europe”.
“And after being at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday evening – despite the result – you can’t deny that having a brand new stadium as your home is a very attractive prospect and something that I am really looking forward to” admits King.
