Gunners looking for strong finish

Edinburgh Gunners’ head coach Todd Blackadder has made six changes, including one positional, to his side that will face the Dragons on Saturday at Rodney Parade from the team that beat Connacht 22-16 last weekend in Galway.
The changes see Ander Monro make his first start of the season at stand-off for Phil Godman while Peter Jorgensen switches to outside centre for Marcus Di Rollo and Matt Dey returns at inside. Simon Webster has recovered from a toe injury and replaces Francisco Leonelli on the left wing.

In the pack, vice-captain Scott Murray returns in the second row for Dave Duley and Dave Callam takes the No 8 jersey in place of Simon Taylor who has been forced out for at least four months with medial ligament damage.

Blackadder said: “This game provides a huge challenge after a good away win over Connacht last weekend and we’re looking to back it up with another. The mind set amongst the players is to get down there and play good rugby, the type we are capable of.

“We did that in the second half last week and we want to replicate it tomorrow. If we do we are virtually unstoppable. We are motivated to perform and the players are focused on a strong finish,” he added.
