Munster’s John Kelly has been forced to withdraw from the Ireland squad for the tour to New Zealand and Australia due to a shoulder injury.
Kelly picked up the shoulder strain while playing for Munster and remained with the Ireland squad to have his injury assessed and treated during the pre tour training camp in Limerick.

However the shoulder has not recovered sufficiently and Kelly's place in the touring party has been taken by his Munster team mate Anthony Horgan.
