Cardiff Blues Director of Coaching David Young has confirmed the pre-season fixtures for the team.
The build-up for the start of the new campaign includes two dress rehearsals at Cardiff Arms Park against Bristol and Worcester in August. Season ticket holders will receive free entry to both games if they renew their season ticket before 19th August.

“We have played friendlies away against both Bristol and Worcester in the last two seasons and lost narrowly on both occasions,” said coach david Young. “Our links with both teams go back many years and these games will be ideal preparation for the start of the new season as they are both among the best coached and supported sides in the English Premiership.”

Chief Executive Robert Norster said,  “We received fantastic support last season, including the record breaking attendance at the Millennium Stadium for our game against Leinster. Following our strong finish to the Celtic League campaign we intend to build upon our successes in 2006/7 and hope to continue to attract a great following.

“In recognition of this support we are offering all season ticket holders free entry to both games at the Arms Park.”
