David McCall will play his first game for Edinburgh tomorrow night having been named at left wing for the eighth round Magners League match against Cardiff Blues at Murrayfield. The 19 year-old is one of three apprentice players in Lynn Howells' 22, with Steven Turnbull named in the second row and hooker Steven Lawrie among the substitutes.
Allister Hogg has recovered from an elbow injury and will start on the bench. The back row forward was taken off in the 60th minute of Edinburgh's 14-9 victory over Glasgow Warriors on 29 September.

Head coach Lynn Howells said: "I have picked the team knowing we will be without our main players next week as they will be with Scotland for the Romania game when we are playing the Dragons. These young players need game time and this is a great opportunity for them to show what they can do."
