| Rennie made his return from a knee injury three weeks ago when he came off the bench against Llanelli Scarlets. Rennie also featured in Monday's back-up fixture against Glasgow Warriors.
Brendan McKerchar will start at scrum-half as captain Chris Cusiter continues to recover from the shoulder injury he sustained whilst playing for Scotland in the 34-22 Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Test win over the Pacific Islanders at Murrayfield. Fullback Calum MacRae will continue in the captain's role.
In the pack, six Scotland caps make their return to Magners League action; Reivers' front row partnership of Gavin Kerr, Ross Ford and Bruce Douglas, 6ft 8in lock Craig Hamilton and back-rowers Scott Gray and Kelly Brown.
During Brown's involvement with the Scotland team over the past three weeks, he was named Man of the Match against the Pacific Islanders.
Over the Autumn Test period, back-row Ross Beattie underwent a tidy-up operation on his shoulder; his recovery period is due to take up to 12 weeks.
Centre Ben MacDougall broke his cheek bone during training on Tuesday and will be seen by a surgeon next week. Ben is likely to be out of action for up to seven weeks following his operation.
Finally, Simon Danielli continues to recover from his fractured cheek bone which he sustained during the Reivers' last home game against Llanelli Scarlets. Simon is due to return in around three weeks' time.
