| Ferris, who made his Ireland debut last month against the Pacific Islanders, injured his hand during Saturday's Magners League match against Leinster at Ravenhill.
After a scan on Sunday he had a small operation on Monday to repair some ligaments in his hand and he is likely to be out of rugby for between 4-6 weeks.
