Ospreys' Assistant Coach, Sean Holley, said: "After a successful and physical encounter against Sale which ended a determined but ultimately unfruitful European campaign, it has been hard for us to refocus on our bread and butter competition in the Magners League. We were disappointed to have not qualified from a difficult pool and having lost only one game, however, there is no better way to get the mindset back than to face the current league leaders.
"Even though their European form has not been what they would have liked Ulster are a particularly good side who will be buoyed by last season's success at the Liberty Stadium. They, like us will be missing some international players but there will be some interesting battles to look out for, namely Brent Cockbain against Justin Harrison, Jonathan Thomas against Roger Wilson and Nikki Walker against Tommy Bowe.
"We will be looking to perform as well as we can in our next two league matches. Both are at home and success should enable us to get back towards the top of the table where we are confident that we can challenge for the title."
