| Paul Steinmetz who has previously played Super 12 rugby for both the Hurricanes and the Highlanders is currently in his fourth season with Ulster. Paul is Ulster's top try scorer so far this season, primarily a specialist inside centre, although as a talented midfield back he is a useful goal-kicker.
Bryn Cunningham a member of Ulster's European Cup winning side Bryn made his Ulster debut against Wasps in 1997 and is one of Ulster's most capped players (115). He has 6 Ireland A caps
Paul Marshall is in his first year of a professional contract with Ulster having been in the Academy for two seasons. He made his full Ulster debut against the Dragons in 2006. Paul captained the Ulster U21 side last season and was part of the Irish Under 21 Six Nations team while a hand injury cut short his U21 RWC campaign with Ireland in Paris.
Nigel Brady made his Ulster debut in the 2002-03 season against Irish rivals Munster but following that waited over a year for his next cap, which came against Edinburgh in the Celtic league opener in September 2004. Nigel who plays at hooker has been unlucky this season with injury and is currently sidelined with a thumb injury.
Declan Fitzpatrick is in his first season as a fully contracted Ulster player and made his Ulster debut against Llanelli in September 2006 and has also two Ireland A caps from the Churchill Cap last summer and has represented Ireland
