| A former pupil of Friends School Lisburn and a member of the Dungannon club, Stephen made his Ulster debut against the Borders in 2005 and has been a regular in the team ever since.
Drafted in the Ireland squad for the first time during this season's November International period, he won his first full international cap against the Pacific Islands and having made a successful return from a thumb injury in recent weeks, will feature in the Ireland A side which takes on the England Saxons at Ravenhill on Friday night.
