| The players have been involved in Edinburgh's Heineken Cup and Magners League campaigns this season.
Andrew Easson said: "I'm over the moon to be offered a full contract. It is a great opportunity for me, especially with the World Cup coming, and I'll hopefully have more opportunities to show what I can do. I'm really happy with Edinburgh and from a development point of view, I've had lot of help from the senior guys which has helped my confidence."
Steven Lawrie said: "This is a natural progression from being an apprentice which I have thoroughly enjoyed, to the full-time ranks. It comes with increased responsibility and pressure which I feel I'm ready for. Hopefully I will continue to develop as a player and contribute to Edinburgh being successful on the pitch, which is the most important thing."
Speaking on next season's signings, Lynn Howells said: "Andrew and Steven have stepped up this season and shown they're capable of playing both Magners League and European rugby. They will be invaluable to us during the World Cup this autumn."
Chairman of Edinburgh Rugby, Alex Carruthers added: "As part of our ongoing to commitment to developing local talent, we are pleased to have retained and promoted such promising youngsters. This season has already seen Ross Rennie move from an apprentice contract into the senior squad and we are delighted that we are able to offer professional contracts to Steven and Andrew too."
Edinburgh Rugby would like to acknowledge the part played by the Area Institutes of Sport in Andrew's and Steven's development. The Area Institutes provide support services to players in the Scottish Rugby National Academy, such as strength & conditioning, sports medicine, sports science and performance lifestyle.
