Edinburgh aim to dampen Dragons’ fire

Chris Paterson returns to lead Edinburgh in their Magners League match against Newport Gwent Dragons at Murrayfield tomorrow night. Having missed the league match a fortnight ago due to injury, he resumes his role at full back meaning Ben Cairns moves to the left wing.

Elsewhere, Rob Dewey and Matt Dey switch positions while Phil Godman, Greig Laidlaw and Lucio Lopez Fleming return to the starting line up, as do Chris Bentley and Alan MacDonald in place of Matt Mustchin and Alasdair Strokosch.

Looking ahead to the match, Lynn Howells said: “The Dragons will be coming to Murrayfield full of confidence after their European Challenge Cup victory over Brive last week. Our skills and attitude will have to be at an optimum if we are going to get a result.”
