| Rob Dewey is restored on the right wing and Marcus Di Rollo at outside centre after missing the Blues match through an abdominal strain and neck injury respectively. Duncan Hodge starts at 10 while Ben Cairns moves to full back.
Alasdair Strokosch and Fergus Pringle make up the second row as Scott Murray has a wrist injury. Simon Taylor comes in on the blind side, meaning Allister Hogg, who again captains the side in Chris Paterson's absence, switches to the open side.
Speaking ahead of the Magners League match, Lynn Howells said: "I am pleased with the way the players have responded in training since the defeat in Cardiff two weeks ago. We realise we could face a backlash from the Scarlets given their loss earlier in the week and in the Heineken Cup. But we cannot worry about them, we have to concentrate on what we're doing and if we play to the best of our abilities, we're in with a shout."
