As the Magners League 2007/08 season comes to an end, here are some of the highlights on the pitch.
Champions Leinster finished the season as the top placed Irish Province for the second year running, Cardiff Blues, the runners up for the second season in succession, were again the top Welsh side.

A bonus point victory over Llanelli Scarlets in the very last game of 2007/08 saw Edinburgh finish in 4th - their highest ever place in the table, and the best final position for a Scottish team. Glasgow Warriors also secured their highest ever finish (5th).

The quickest try bonus point of the season was scored at Rodney Parade in the final round of fixtures when Phil Dollman touched down for Newport Gwent Dragons 4th try in the 20th minute –champions Leinster were the visitors

Two players passed the 100 league games mark Adam Black and Andrew Hall both currently playing for Newport Gwent Dragons.

Shaun Payne, who started the season as team manager at Munster, scored the fastest try of the season in 48 seconds against Cardiff Blues at the Arms Park in March.
