Ulster line up Bulls game
19 January 2005, 11:10 am
By Jonathan McConnell
Ulster Rugby fans will get an unexpected bonus this Feburary with a friendly against South African Super 12 side, The Bulls on Friday 11th February.
The Bulls preliminary squad for the 2005 Super 12 includes former Ulster flanker Warren Brosnihan. The squad also includes Springboks Bakkies Botha, Geo Cronje and Victor Matfield.

With the Celtic League matches suspended over the Six Nations period this game will give Ulster some vital match-practice ahead of their trip to Newport to play The Dragons on 18th February, while a week later The Bulls will travel to Ellis Park to play The Cats in the Super 12 2005 opening round.

This is the first time Ulster have welcomed a Super 12 team to Ravenhill and the match provides a mouth-watering opportunity to see Mark McCall’s men take on some of the best players in world rugby.
