Jennings has been on form continuously this season putting in consistently strong and impressive performances but it appears that his recent Heineken Cup action, which earned him man of the match status, has also won him the approval of the Leinster fan base who have voted him their player of the month.
Voting for this month’s award was clearly divided between a number of players – Denis Hickie, Felipe Contepomi and Shane Horgan being the closest contenders.
The Player of the Month award is a monthly fan based initiative sponsored by Bank of Scotland (Ireland).
