Meanwhile, Sale Sharks forward Jason White returns to the Scottish side as Matt Williams makes four changes after last weekend’s heavy defeat by Wales. Also in are Gordon Ross, lock Nathan Hines and scrum-half Mike Blair who all made second half substitute appearances last week. White's return has triggered two positional changes, which sees the back-row rejigged with Simon Taylor moving to No 8 and Allister Hogg switching to openside flanker.
Chris Cusiter was ruled out of selection by the Achilles injury he suffered against Wales so Graeme Beveridge is called onto the bench where he is joined by Stuart Grimes, Jon Petrie and Dan Parks, who have all been dropped following the 46-22 thrashing by the Welsh.
