Welsh International Dafydd James is the latest player to join the exodus from harlequins - confirming his return to Llanelli on a two year contract.
Having made his debut at Stradey against Pontypridd in 1999, Dafydd made 52 appearances for Llanelli RFC, scoring 145 points before leaving for Bridgend.

Scarlets Chief Executive Stuart Gallacher said; “We are pleased to announce that Dafydd James will be joining us this summer from NEC Harlequins on a two year contract. We look forward to his welcome return for pre-season training in June”.

Having left Wales for Harlequins following the demise of the Celtic Warriors in the summer of 2004, Dafydd has made no secret of his wish to return home to Wales and the Scarlets.

“As a family we’re delighted to be moving back home. I have great memories of my time at Stradey especially the Scarlets supporters who are the most passionate anywhere. I played some of my best rugby here and I’m delighted to be coming back”.
