All eyes are on Dublin on Saturday as the destiny of the Celtic Cup for season 2004-05 is decided, with both protagonists – Munster and the Llanelli Scarlets – all out to secure a cup final victory and place another trophy in their cabinet.
Neither side is any stranger to lifting a Celtic prize as Munster were the Celtic League winners in 2002-03 and the Scarlets took the Celtic League title exactly 12 months ago.

The prestigious Lansdowne Road final kicks off at 5.30pm and will be screened live on BBC Grandstand, Setanta Sports and the Welsh language channel, S4C.

To avoid a clash of colours, Llanelli Scarlets will be wearing their change kit in accordance with Celtic Rugby rule 5.2.18, having scored fewer tries than Munster in the tournaments so far this season.

The game will set two new firsts in respect of the match officials with referee Joel Jutge becoming the first Frenchman to take charge of a Celtic Rugby match, and Scotsman David Changleng will be the first video referee to be employed in Celtic League or Cup, with his decisions being relayed on a giant replay screen for the first time in the competition.

Both sides have named strong line-ups for the final, as follows:

Munster Squad:

Shaun Payne, Mike Mullins, James Storey, Brian Touhy, Rob Henderson, Anthony Horgan, Paul Devlin, Ronan O’Gara, Paul Burke, Jeremy Manning, Peter Stringer, Mike Prendergast, Marcus Horan, Eugene McGovern, Frank Sheahan, John Hayes, Donncha O'Callaghan, Paul O'Connell, Alan Quinlan, David Wallace, Anthony Foley capt, James Blaney, Gordon McIlwham, Trevor Hogan, Denis Leamy.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE’S A DRAW AT FULL-TIME?

A period of extra time will be played - 10 minutes, 5 minutes each way

* During extra time the first team to score any points will be the winner by ‘Golden Point’

* If the two sides are still drawing after extra time the team that scored most tries in the match will be declared the winner

* If no tries have been scored in a game that is still level after extra time then a Place Kick competition will be held
