| Under the terms of the agreement Flogas, one of the largest LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) suppliers in the UK will appear across the front of The Dragons shirt as well as on the reverse for the 2005/06 season with an option to renew for the 2006/07 season.
Managing Director of Flogas Paddy Kilmartin said, ‘We believe the association with the Newport Gwent Dragons is a fantastic one for the Flogas brand. We are looking forward to developing a relationship with The Dragons and its supporters who are passionate about the game.’
Flogas also sponsor the Leicester Tigers. Paddy continued, ‘In sponsoring the Newport Gwent Dragons and Leicester Tigers we believe we are associated with two sides in Welsh and English rugby who are ambitious, keen to develop young players and are professional in their approach on and off field.’
Gethin Jenkins, Commercial Director, Newport Gwent Dragons commented, ‘We are delighted that a high profile company has come on board as our main sponsor for the season. Flogas are a large company who have made huge advances in the LPG market and we look forward to working alongside them as well as developing a strong relationship with them and helping them grow their brand.’
