| The Cardiff based club will be holding the coaching clinic on Tuesday, August the 9th at 6.45pm, at Pontypridd RFC.
The invitation to attend will be sent out to all 56 clubs in the region and is aimed at coaches who aspire to develop new ideas and techniques used in the professional game.
Attending the session will be Dai Young - Director of Coaching, Rob Howley - Backs Coach, and Richard Webster - Forwards Coach. Each will offer invaluable advice to aspiring coaches and will offer them one to one advice on each aspect of the game.
“This is a great opportunity for the Blues and the clubs within the region to meet and discuss ideas. Hopefully the expertise we have as a coaching team can offer will benefit the coaches and the feeder teams. That can only be good news for rugby within the whole region,” said Young.
Mike Williams head Coach at Abercynon RFC added “It's excellent that the Blues are holding these coaching clinics and it is sure to benefit us as coaches and the players. We already have a lot of contact with the coaches and the Blues region is definitely working. We were all delighted that one of our former players Rhys Thomas went on to play for the Blues and won his first cap, he's the first player from Abercynon RFC to do so and we're all chuffed for him".
