Hadden: Gunners coach
Paterson to skipper Gunners

Chris Paterson will captain Edinburgh Gunners this season with his international colleague, Scott Murray as vice-captain.
Coach Frank Hadden made the announcement and then went on to praise his squad and the fitness staff ahead of what he hopes will be a very successful campaign.

Despite having 12 players ruled out of the Gunners’ first warm-up game against Leeds with only minor niggles, Hadden remains upbeat about the campaign ahead.

“We’ve ticked our fitness box,” the coach enthused.  “We’re going to be in tremendous physical condition this year and that (fitness) cannot be an excuse.”

Paterson echoed Hadden’s comments saying: “I’m excited, the same as everyone else at Edinburgh.  We’re just desperate to play games and desperate to put into action the fitness we’ve been put through.”
