| The squad will be at Philiphaugh, home of Selkirk RFC, on Sunday (28 August) from 1pm and will be running a fun rugby zone, signing autographs and giving supporters the chance to buy season tickets and merchandise.
“We’re delighted to be going to Selkirk on Sunday,” said Scottish Rugby’s community marketing manager Fraser Bedwell. “We believe the Selkirk 7s provides the Reivers’ squad with a fantastic opportunity to enhance the event promote themselves and boost season ticket sales.”
First tie in the 7s kicks-off at 1.30pm. The draw: Scottish Thistles v Berwick, Howe of Fife v Hawick, Gala v Langholm, Selkirk v Peebles, Haddington v Royal Scots, Edinburgh University v Melrose, Jed-Forest v Duns, Kelso v Watsonians. The winners’ cup and medals will be presented by former SRU Secretary Bill Hogg.
