| Coach Michael Cheika also announced that Malcolm O'Kelly, Felipe Contepomi, Denis Hickie, Keith Gleeson and Guy Easterby will form part of a leadership team who will assist O'Driscoll in his duties.
Contepomi will captain the Leinster side for the Celtic League opener against the Ospreys at the Morfa Stadium on Sunday in an initial squad which will be reduced later in the week.
