Farley named as Connacht skipper

Andrew Farley will captain Connacht for the 2005/06 season taking the role for a second year, while Irish international Matt Mostyn has been confirmed as vice-captain for the new campaign.
Both are named on the Connacht starting XV for Saturday’s opening Celtic League clash with Cardiff Blues at the Sportsground.
Centre Keith Matthews will make his first start in the game, while Colm Rigney will mark his return to the province after two seasons with Leeds Tykes, starting at No 8.

On the bench Ronan Loughney, Daniel Riordan and hooker Chris Venter are all in line to make their competitive debuts.
