BBC Wales Sport provides comprehensive coverage of the Magners League in both Welsh and English across its services.  

On BBC Two Wales / 2W fans can catch live games on Friday evenings in Scrum V Live, presented by Gareth Lewis with commentators including Jonathan Davies and Gareth Charles. Digital viewers can press red on their remotes during games for extra commentaries and the Fan Scene with Rick O'Shea.

BBC Wales also provides extensive coverage of the Magners League to S4C in Y Clwb Rygbi, with games on Saturday evenings introduced by Gareth Roberts and Brynmor Williams with commentary from Huw Llywelyn Davies and Gwyn Jones. 

On Sunday evenings on BBC Two Wales / 2W the Scrum V team of Gareth Lewis, Jonathan Davies and Gareth Charles offer Magners League fans extensive highlights and views on all the top games from the weekend. Plus fans can also catch up with all the latest rugby news on BBC Radio Wales' Scrum V on Thursday evenings from 7pm with Gareth Lewis in the hot-seat.

S4C

S4C is one of the UK’s premier sports broadcasters, televising top-quality rugby union coverage of all of the world’s top competitions.

The Channel’s flagship rugby show Y Clwb Rygbi has live coverage of the Magners League almost every week throughout the season. For the first time, English-language commentary of live Magners League games will be available on the red button in the 2008/2009 season. Viewers can also access English subtitles. Along with the Magners League, S4C has highlights coverage of the Heineken Cup, live coverage of  Wales’ internationals, live matches from The Swalec Cup and the Principality Welsh Premiership. The Rugby World Cup, The World Junior Cup and highlights of world rugby and the IRB Sevens tournaments.

These programmes are presented by one of the UK’s strongest line-ups of commentators and analysts. The Channel is available on all platforms in Wales and on Sky 134 and Freesat 120 in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Setanta Sports

Setana Sports, the home of Magners League Rugby will broadcast live Magners League on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Presented in Ireland by Daire O’Brien, with insightful analysis and discussion from the studio panel and co-commentators including  Donal Lenihan (former Lions and Ireland), Ciaran Fitzgerald (former Ireland and Lions Captain), Neil Francis (former Ireland lock), and the recently retired Ireland and Leinster prop Reggie Corrigan.

Commentary will be provided by Connor Morris, Martin Gillingham and Fred Cogley, with Tulsen Tollett (former Harlequins) reporting.

Setanta Sports will also be producing the home games played in Scotland by Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors.
